Competition Details
What to expect after the online submission.
Finalists will be invited to present their pitches to a panel of judges at the Airable Research Lab. Each presenter will be given 30 minutes – roughly 20 minutes for their presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A.
Criteria
While there is no template for the entrepreneurship pitches, live presentations for selected finalists will be evaluated with the following criteria in mind:
Market Desirability
Rationale for prospective customers’ interest.
Why is this product business needed?
What is the gap you are trying to fill and why is it important?
Who would be your competition?
What is the value proposition that will get people excited to purchase your product or products?
Economic Viability
Demonstrated demand for products.
Who are the customers?
What is the current and future state of demand?
Exact figures and calculations are not required.
Innovative Spirit
Product or business promotes innovative priorities of Airable and the US soybean industry.
Is the product novel?
What is the goal of the product/company?
What was the source of your inspiration?
Does it promote sustainability?
Clarity and Inspiration
How effective is the pitch in communicating the vision of the entrepreneur.
How does the innovation align with your background, motivations, and passions?
Why should the team believe in you?
How effectively has the pitch addressed the evaluation criteria?
How much excitement is generated from the pitch?
